In the past (Morfik 1.x) there was a free version of Morfik AppsBuilder. It had no restrictions on what you could build with it. It just added a line to the bottom of the application's pages stating that it was build with the Free versio...

It seems to maintain a connection pool.
Do the web methods use connection pooling? For example if I create my own query and pull in some data in a method on the server,
1) is it going to create a new connection or
2) will it re-use an existing connection that is no longer being used?

You might want to checkout the source code of the SystemDataForm module. It might give you some insights.
95% of time you can write your custom database code within the implementation of a WebMethod, where a pre-configured connection is available...
